WHAT IS THAT, YOU ASK?
We’ll meet at the SxSE PhotoGallery at 9 AM on Friday morning. Coffee and such will be available.
15 photographers will be chosen randomly, in teams of 3, by 5 local photographers (or photography enthusiasts) who know the area. They will be your drivers – and your guides.
At that time a list of 5 (five) “items” you must bring back images of at the end of day will be given to you. These may (or may not) include “a reflection”, “water”, “yellow”, “a portrait” (preferably of someone other than the person in the back seat with you, but whatever), etc.
Your drivers are familiar with the area and will have already been privy to the list already…
Once the teams are designated, everyone has shaken hands, and the clock strikes 10YOU’RE OFF!
You must be back by 5 pm.
Because that’s when cocktail hour begins.
And it’s when the clock stops.
And when you begin sharing your photos with your team.
BECAUSE only ONE image from each category will be entered from each team.
Dinner will be served at the gallery.
Anna will give a little talk.
On Saturday morning we’ll go to breakfast,
you can talk about your photos one last time,
and then we meet back at the gallery where you’ll present your 5 images
(one from each category, remember?)
to everyone.
Anna will choose the best of each!!!!
Prizes. Will. Be. Awarded!
Winners will be congratulated.
Losers will be consoled.

The Opening Reception for Street Photography is that evening, beginning at 5.
And its a great show!
Talking like a pirate will be tolerated. Wearing an eye patch might help you focus.
