We meet in Warm Springs at the Little White House at 9:00 am. We’ll shoot the interior, exterior, and museum, and/or you may want to explore FDR State Park for overlooks, hiking trails and rock structures built by the CCC under FDR. Also, the FDR Historic Site still has the spring-fed pools where Roosevelt took therapy for polio.

At 11:30 we’ll meet for lunch in Warm Springs before heading to Plains, Georgia. Plains is 1.5 hours south of Warm Springs down lovely country highways. You may choose to join the group for lunch, or dine later; car pool, caravan, or drive down at your own pace hoping to find just the right shot along the way.

At 3pm we’ll tour the childhood home of Jimmy Carter, and the outbuildings on the family farm.

From there we’ll explore Plains before making the 20-minute drive to Americus, Georgia, and the Windsor Hotel. Group rates are available at the Windsor and information will be given upon registration. Rates will be @$100/night.
